A 10-week term class for those aged between 5 to 16 years old. The duration for each class is 1.5 hours. Training includes individual instruction and repetitions, and small group drills – game situations, half court drills, and game scrimmage with running clock and score to simulate a high paced actual game environment. The depth of the instruction increases gradually in appropriate increments based on age and ability.
Basketball development progresses through key stages, focusing on building fundamental skills and game understanding. Under 8s focus on basic skills like dribbling, shooting, and passing, while learning to play the game consistently. Under 10s refine individual skills and start understanding ball movement, player roles, and basic offense and defense. 5-10 year-olds work on dribbling, shooting, and passing fundamentals within gameplay. 11-14 year-olds (Boys & Girls) develop advanced skills, understanding of player movement, and reading the game, while also learning structured offense and defense. 11-14-year-old boys focus on preparing for competition with a deeper understanding of individual skills and team play. Under 15s (Boys & Girls) continue to refine their execution and game awareness, preparing for higher-level play.
